SM1-Why I want God’s plan for me

Ephesians 2:10 AMPC

For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].

Ephesians 2:10 NIV

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Thank You, Lord, for creating us. We are Your handiwork, Your masterpiece! Each of us uniquely created, each of us with carefully crafted destinies that You had already prepared in advance for us. Lord, that is such a lot of work for us ungrateful people. Some even doubt Your existence, much less that You created us, but Your presence has been manifest in my life. I can feel Your presence everywhere I turn, and I thank You for this revelation.

Thank You for Your plans, thank You that You want us living the good life you prearranged and made ready for us. Dear Lord, You know everything, and I know that Your plans will be perfect for my abilities, my talents, and even my tastes and inclinations. Any plans I make would pale — in comparison with Your plans. Forgive me for trying to walk my own path, ignoring your plans. Guide me back to Your way, guide me back to where Your plans for me will take me to my glorious destiny.

Remind all Your children that Your plans are uniquely made for each of us, each tailored to our abilities and even our desires. I praise and thank You that You take good care of me, You watch over me, You protect me, You provide for me, and You reveal Your ways to me. Continue to guide me, never leave me. Do not forsake me no matter what I do. I realize I am not worthy after all the wrongs I have done, but I thank You for loving me in spite of it all. I love You because You first loved me.

Thank You Lord! In Jesus’ Name, amen.
